La cantante y actriz australiana Natalie Imbruglia estrenó en plataformas digitales «On My Way», el tercer adelanto de su próximo álbum «Firebird», que será lanzado el próximo 24 de septiembre a través de BMG.
«Es una de mis canciones favoritas del álbum y fue coescrita con el increíble Eg White. ¡Es una canción sobre fluir! Esas mañanas que te despiertas y te sientes invencible. No puedo esperar a cantarla en vivo», sostuvo la artista a través de un comunicado de prensa.
Al hablar sobre su próximo disco, que fue anticipado en junio con el primer single «Build It Better», Imbruglia dijo: «Hacer este álbum ha sido una experiencia tan profunda y satisfactoria. Habiendo pasado por un largo período de lo que esencialmente fue un bloqueo de escritor, a veces era difícil imaginar llegar a este lugar».
«Antes de la pandemia, comencé el proceso de componer este álbum en Londres y poco después me dirigí a Nashville. Con cada sesión y con cada nuevo colaborador, comencé a ganar confianza, a encontrar mi voz nuevamente y a crear el sonido y el estilo que me parecían auténticos».
«Ha sido un privilegio trabajar con tanta variedad de talentos en ‘Firebird’. No veo la hora de que la gente finalmente lo escuche».
En su nuevo álbum han colaborado artistas y productores como Albert Hammond Jr. (The Strokes), Romeo Stodart (The Magic Numbers), KT Tunstall, Eg White (Adele, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith), Luke Fitton (Little Mix, Girls Aloud), Fiona Bevan (One Direction, Ed Sheeran) y Rachel Furner (Little Mix, Jason Derulo, Craig David), entre otros.
