R.E.M. anuncia reedición de «Out of Time», por su 25º aniversario

R.E.M. ha anunciado que relanzará el álbum «Out of Time», de 1991, con motivo de su 25º aniversario. La reedición saldrá a la luz el 18 de noviembre a través de Concord Bicycle, y estará disponible en tres formatos diferentes: CD doble, LP triple, y un box set de lujo de 4 discos.

Cada set incluirá una versión remasterizada del álbum junto con demos de canciones inéditas y de los lados-b aparecidos en los singles. La versión de lujo de 4 discos vendrá con una grabación en vivo adicional de un show de 1991 en Mountain Stage y un disco Blu-Ray que contendrá versiones de audio de alta resolución y 5.1 de sonido envolvente de «Out of Time», todos los videoclips del álbum, y el kit de prensa electrónico «Time Piece», de 1991 (una colección grabaciones de estudio y actuaciones en vivo).

La reedición también vendrá con notas de Annie Zaleski, presentando entrevistas con los cuatro miembros de la banda y los productores del disco, Scott Litt y John Keane.

A principios de este año, se reeditaron en vinilo el disco «Lifes Rich Pageant» (1986) y los compilados «Dead Letter Office» (1987) y «Eponymous» (1988).
