El cantante Louis Tomlinson, ex integrante del grupo pop británico-irlandés One Direction, se presentará el 21 de mayo de 2021 en el Movistar Arena (Humboldt 450) del barrio porteño de Palermo, para presentar su primer disco solista, “Walls”.
Luego de un tiempo al que el joven intérprete inglés definió como “un proceso de autocomprensión”, en el cual lanzó una serie de éxitos en 2017, incluidas las colaboraciones con gran repercusión con Bebe Rexha y Steve Aoki, Tomlinson se encuentra preparado para lanzar un disco y volver a los escenarios.

“Quería ser un artista que tuviera su propio sonido y algo que decir”, dijo el cantante. Perseguir posiciones en las listas y la reproducción de la radio tuvo que pasar a un segundo plano para hacer música que significara algo para él y, a su vez, para sus seguidores
Su nueva canción “We Made It”, remite al sueño adolescente y el amor joven, y musicalmente fusiona la influencia indie que tuvo Tomlinson durante su adolescencia con un sonido pop electrónico contemporáneo
El tema fue lanzado junto con su videoclip el cual a pocos días de su lanzamiento ya cuenta con más seis millones y medio de vistas en YouTube.
“Me siento como un nuevo artista, me llevó un tiempo sentirme cómodo por mi cuenta. Me siento más seguro que nunca, tanto como compositor y como cantante, y más maduro. Por supuesto que quiero tener éxito, pero lo que importa es lo que mi música significa para mí y lo que significa para los fans. Esa es la prioridad. El resto tendremos que esperar y ver», indicó.
