Richard Marx celebra los 30 años de «Right Here Waiting»

l 12 de agosto de 1989, el éxito de Richard Marx «Right Here Waiting» alcanzó el número uno del Billboard Hot 100, donde permaneció durante tres semanas.

Para celebrar los 30 años desde aquel logro, el cantante compartió en las redes sociales un video interpretando la canción con una guitarra.

«Estoy profundamente agradecido por esta canción que me llegó, y aún más cuando miro a la audiencia noche tras noche, incluso ahora, y veo y escucho a todos cantando conmigo», escribió.

Además de «Right Here Waiting», Marx también alcanzó el número uno del Billboard Hot 100 con «Hold On To the Nights» (1988) y «Satisfied» (1989). Además, tuvo otras siete canciones que se metieron en el Top 10.

Su segundo álbum, «Repeat Offender», que incluye «Right Here Waiting», ocupó el primer lugar en la lista de álbumes Billboard 200.
